Join us for a quick 30-minute overview of upcoming Brain Boot Camp classes offered in the community this fall. We will explain what it is, why it’s important, how to sign up, and even show a few examples of the exercises!
Brain Boot Camp is a fitness class for your brain and your body!
The World Health Organization recently released a review of top interventions to prevent dementia and slow cognitive decline. Nutrition, sleep and stress management were included, but exercise was at the top of the list!
Improved fitness levels and different types of exercises improve brain function, structure and cognition. Combining physical exercise with brain stimulation was even more effective in targeting different areas of the brain.
For adults of all ages and levels of physical ability! Led by Alison Connors, Certified Brain Health Trainer, sessions are 45 minutes in length and include warm-up and cool-down.
